We've been making our pie plates over 20 years, and they do make a great pie . They are over sized an inch in depth &
an inch and a half in width , which helpes keep the pies from bubbling all over the oven. Being over sized they can be used
for any 9X9X2 recipe: like corn bread, cobbler, Quiche, potato- ogrotten and dishes of those kind. Truly an all round baking
dish.
